Tithe
“Giving a tenth is what is known as a tithe. Today I received a revelation concerning the word ‘tithe’. I didn’t hear it as tithe. I heard it as ‘tie thee.’ The ten percent is the portion of the divine talent that becomes a seed to tie you to your God Presence, to God, the Great source, so that the next cycle of the decimal system will grow.
Tie thee means a tie, a link, a union with your Source, the source of your supply. And by giving that tenth, you’re planting the seed that makes your supply grow into the next cycle.”

“How do you tithe? You tithe as regularly as you receive income. When you receive your salary or whatever form of income you have, before it is spent in any way one-tenth is given and offered…The tithe is simply what already belongs to God. God's ownership and our stewardship--he owns it all but asks for one-tenth back as we are stewards of the remaining nine-tenths.”
The tithe”… is the lawful gift in the interchange of that guru-chela relationship. God, then, takes it, multiplies it, and turns it back to the community for its expansion and its service.”

Tithes lovingly offered to The Summit Lighthouse are the foundation and backbone of the organization because they are a regular source of income. Tithes support the international headquarters in Gardiner, Montana, the publishing and dissemination of the teachings of the ascended masters including Pearls of Wisdom and Keeper of the Flame lessons, Summit University, the activities of Church Universal and Triumphant as well as all domestic and international programs and initiatives.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
